We all know that blogging is basically founded upon the relationship between the blogger and readers. A voice is required in blogging. The blogger speaks and the reader listens. A kind of relationship is formed at that instant. Whether that relationship will materialize or not cannot be confirmed though at that very point in time. It's even more difficult to predict if it will bring any success in blogging for the blogger.
Talking about a relationship, let's be honest about it - every blogger loves to blog and it's always because of this factor that to establish this relationship with other bloggers , we can safely confirm that this is the key reason and is an important strategy for success in blogging.
When we get to know other bloggers during blogging time, we'll be able to get feedback through comments. They will be glad to provide us with their honest and unbiased thoughts about our presentation, content or even the blog as a whole. From such feedback which will always be ever so readily provided, we will be able to fine-tune the design of the blog or put in more effort to post more fresh content. The blogger must be willing to share views or ask questions if unsure about blog matters. Other bloggers are always ready to give a helping hand; they will have no problem helping out with the problem blog.
We should be aware that not all bloggers are well-known personalities who are publicly recognizable. Of course, there is also no need to be alarmed, simply because individual bloggers do possess some extent of influence. Through building the relationships with these bloggers, we will be able to enhance our positive experiences, and they too will be more than willing to offer us help using the influence that they have. We know that a friend in need is a friend indeed; most bloggers fall into this category.
Building the relationships with other bloggers is always progressive. It comes naturally and over some period of time. It doesn't not follow any standard pattern or single process.
I'm sure we know that the blog is really a good opening to knowing someone who reads it, that is, your blog. The reader will be able to know a little more about you through the feed. From your blog, it is always possible to form an opinion about you, the blogger. The reader will be able to think about the passions that you have, or even your personality traits.
Comments left by the reader on your blog will always influence you to read them. This is because you will surely be able to recognize the name of the reader who leaves the comment on your blog. There is this opportunity for a relationship to start between you and the reader.
One point worth mentioning and admiring is this - the blog builds mutual respect between blogger and reader. We must know that links actually are a measure of respect. This stems from the fact that the reader has been actively reading your blog and not just about an isolated item. That said, the more links the better.
The relationships can be brought up another level. With the benefit of links, it is time to further strengthen the relationship through email. We know that bloggers love links, but they also love to email. From the comments that are posted, it is good to continue to make progess in the relationship building by extending the conversation from the comments.
From blogging, it is fairly noticeable that bloggers really love to talk and contribute in blog conversations with other bloggers sharing same interests. With advanced technology, it is the right time to bring the relationship another level higher by engaging in conversation over the phone , or even Skype, a new real-time talk technology.
It is best if bloggers can meet up personally. This will consolidate the relationship that they are trying to build. The time spent face-to-face can be about any topic, not necessarily to be about blogging. In fact, this is the golden opportunity to cement the relationship between two bloggers who are trying to find value.
If we seriously want success in blogging, we have no choice but to build a real and caring relationship with the blogger on the other side. It's still the human touch that is important.
